what3words is a system that has divided the whole world into 3 metre squares with a unique three-word address for each square. This makes it possible to pinpoint a very accurate location. No more, I’m on the bench, by the pond, in the field near the church. Now it’s just a simple combination of three-words.
It’s totally free to use and you can get it on Apple iOS, Google Android or use it in a web browser. You can share your location via SMS, WhatsApp, email etc, or send the location straight from what3words to navigation apps like Google Maps and Waze.
